Marine Academy Summer Camp

Marine Academy Camp (MAC) offers a safe outdoor experience with on-the-water activities. Each week campers will enjoy kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and learning science on Biscayne Bay, in an accessible and inclusive environment. Activities also include Shake TV production for our YouTube channel, social-emotional learning, with an emphasis on literacy.  

The difference between MAC and Adventure Island Camp (AIC) is the daily classroom component that is instructed by certified teachers from Miami Dade County Public Schools.

June 10, 2024 –August 2, 2024

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday

8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Earliest drop off 8:00am)

Grades: K-12

*Camp will be closed on Wednesday June 19, 2024, in observance of Juneteenth and on Thursday July 4, 2024, in observance of Independence Day.

** All applicants are waitlisted until after a parent or guardian in their household attends one Mandatory Parent Orientation. Parent orientation starts in March 2024. You will receive an email prior to each orientation.
