We asked one of our hardworking teacher assistants how her Shake-A-Leg summer has been going so far, her favorite activity and her biggest lesson or takeaway? And this is what she shared “It's going good so far, I’m really busy, I work two jobs and I’m taking college courses, but SALM really brightens up my day!”. We couldn’t be happier to brighten your day, but our Legger’s are the ones who bring the sunshine! In response to her favorite activity she exclaimed, “SAILING! Sailing for sure!” We love the enthusiasm, and couldn’t agree more, launching boats and dreams! Following into the biggest lesson learned she smiled and said “Patience. This was a profound lesson for me, but very valuable and I will take that with me through life.” What a remarkable answer and a lesson that will be carried through beyond her SALM journey.
