Hey Leggers! Summer is officially in session. On June 12^th we kicked off our 8-week summer programming which is inclusive of 4 different camps that all embark on outdoor adventure: Adventure Island Camp, Marine Academy Camp, Outings and Mentors.

Campers attended our first day with sunscreen, towels, and water in hand, all ready to experience the beautiful Biscayne Bay! For many of our summer campers this will be their first time experiencing the Bay and its healing powers.  Our watersports program encompasses sailing, kayaking, and eco-tours, combined with captivating science lessons that teach our campers important skills in a safe, accessible, and inclusive environment.

As the day unfolded, students first needed to learn about camp water safety instruction, which educated our campers on how to put on their brand-new Sea Choice life jackets, applying sunscreen for their protection and the do's and don'ts of the dock and other areas of the camp.  Campers then flooded the waters with their kayaks, sailboats, and paddleboards until the end of the day.
